The Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe private equity firm bought the Solantic chain of urgent care centers from Rick Scott, now a U.S. Senator from Florida. The firm needed to launch 57 new or rebranded centers across Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.

THE WORK

Brian’s team created a new name, called CareSpot, and new branding. They also created a new website and an app that allows consumers to locate the nearest CareSpot Urgent Care center, determine wait times, and make appointments. Brian’s communication strategy focused on the high quality of care and the app that made visiting a CareSpot Urgent Care center much more convenient.
Brian’s team generated extensive local and national media coverage in advance of CareSpot soft openings and grand openings. Brian also created CareSpot’s crisis prevention and response plan that controls a potential crisis in minutes.
